A super absorbent polymer (sap) also know as “slush powder” is a water-absorbing hydrophilic homopolymers or copolymers that can absorb and retain extremely large amounts of liquid relative to its own mass.
Sap or superabsorbent polymers is a material which can absorb up to 300 times of their own weight (from 30-60 times its own volume) and become up to 99.9% liquid.
The sap’s total absorbency and swelling capacity are controlled by the type and degree of cross-linkers used to make the gel.
Superabsorbent polymer is an ideal material for use in products such as “baby diapers/nappies, cool packs, hygiene pads and liners.
How are superabsorbent polymers made?
Feature of superabsorbent polymers:
Super absorbent polymer for ice gel pack made from garg chemical company, is a non-toxic granular powder, extenively used by packaging and transportation industries. It is manufactured as a safer substitte to dry ice.
It is effective in coolers & lunch boxes as well as ideal for cold transport of verious foods, pharmaceuticals, vaccines, blood samples, medicines, chocolates, meats and other easily spoiled items.
Super absorbent polymer that we offer can absorb high amount of liquid at a time. It finds extensive usage in sanitary products, diaper, gel based hot and cold pack, filtration application, motionless water beds, wire and cable water blocking, spill control etc.
